Viewing Your Plan, Usage & Managing Your Subscription
The Billing settings page gives you a live snapshot of your current CaterCloud plan, how much of your monthly allowances you've used, and quick access to upgrade or manage your subscription. It's relevant to all account owners and admins on any plan tier.
Getting There
Navigate to Settings → Billing. The page loads your current plan details automatically — no extra steps required.
---
Understanding the Current Plan Card
At the top of the page you'll see your plan summary, which includes:
- Plan name and status — displays whether your subscription is Active, Trial, Past due, Canceled, or Free
- Price — your current billing rate, or Covered if your account is managed under an agency plan
- Renewal date — shown beneath the price when applicable
---
Monitoring Your Monthly Usage
On the right side of the plan card, the This month panel shows mini progress bars for your three key usage limits:
- Events — events created this billing period
- Quotes — quotes raised this billing period
- Locations — active locations (operations) on your account
- AI credits — remaining balance out of your monthly grant
Progress bars turn amber when you're approaching a limit and red when you've hit it. Check this panel regularly if you're on a Free or Pro plan to avoid hitting caps mid-month.
---
Managing or Upgrading Your Plan
Depending on your account, you'll see one or both of these buttons:
- Manage Portal — opens your billing portal (available if you have an existing Stripe customer record). Use this to update payment methods, download invoices, or cancel your subscription.
- Upgrade to Pro → / Upgrade to Elite → — takes you directly to the checkout flow for the next available tier.
Below the current plan card, you'll find all available plan cards with a Monthly / Yearly billing toggle. Switching to yearly saves the equivalent of 2 months free.
---
> Tip: If your usage bars are consistently hitting 80–100%, upgrading your plan before you hit the cap will prevent disruptions to creating new events or quotes.
