Business Profile Settings

Your business profile is the foundation of everything CaterCloud shows your clients — from quotes and invoices to emails and branding. This guide walks you through updating your details so everything looks professional and accurate from day one.

Getting There

Navigate to Settings → Business Profile. You'll see a single form divided into sections.

What You Can Edit

Identity

  • Business name — appears on all client-facing documents. This field is required; you can't save without it.
  • Owner first name — used in email templates via the {{owner_first_name}} variable.
  • Business phone — your contact number shown on documents.
  • Website — optional URL for your business site.
  • Industry — choose from options including Catering, Food Truck, Restaurant, Event Planning, Hospitality, or Other.

Tax & Region

  • ABN (or your country's equivalent tax ID) — enter your number and click out of the field; CaterCloud will validate and auto-format it. If the number is invalid, an error will appear before you can save.
  • GST registered toggle and default tax rate — controls how tax is applied to quotes and invoices.
  • Country, currency, and timezone — changing country will automatically suggest the matching currency and default tax rate.

Address

Start typing in the address field to use autocomplete, or fill in the individual fields (Street address, Suburb, State, Postcode) manually.

Branding

  • Logo — upload your logo directly. It saves immediately without needing to click Save changes.
  • Primary colour and Secondary colour — enter hex values to match your brand. These colours are used across client-facing pages and documents.

Email Sender

  • Sender slug — customises the sending address used in client emails.

Saving Your Changes

When you've made edits, a save bar appears at the bottom of the page. Click Save changes to apply, or Discard to revert all unsaved edits back to their last saved state.

> Tip: Your logo uploads instantly, but all other fields require clicking Save changes — don't navigate away before saving.
