Set Up Your Business Profile
Your business profile is the foundation of CaterCloud — it populates your quotes, invoices, and client communications with your business details. Complete it during onboarding or update it at any time.
Getting There
Go to Settings → Business Profile.
---
Identity
Fill in the following fields under the Identity section:
- Business name — appears on all quotes and invoices. This field is required; you cannot save without it.
- Owner first name — used in email templates via the
{{owner_first_name}}variable. - Business phone — your contact number shown on client-facing documents.
- Website — optional, but adds credibility to quotes and invoices.
- Industry — choose from options such as Catering, Food Truck, Event Planning, or Hospitality.
---
Logo
Use the logo upload field to add your business logo. Your logo appears in the header of quotes and invoices sent to clients. Supported formats are standard image files. The logo saves immediately when uploaded — you don't need to click Save Changes.
---
Address
Start typing your street address in the Address field to use autocomplete. Complete the remaining fields:
- Suburb
- State — selecting an Australian state automatically sets the currency to AUD.
- Postcode
Your address appears in the footer of quotes and invoices.
---
Timezone and Currency
- Timezone — controls how booking times and deadlines display across your account. Choose the option that matches your operating location (e.g. Sydney / Melbourne (AEST)).
- Currency — sets the currency symbol used on all quotes and invoices. Available options include AUD, NZD, USD, GBP, EUR, CAD, SGD, and HKD. Selecting a country or state will suggest a default currency, but you can override it.

Saving Your Changes
When you've made changes, a save bar appears at the bottom of the page. Click Save Changes to apply, or Discard to revert to the last saved version.
> Tip: Once your profile is saved, open a draft quote to confirm your business name, address, and logo are displaying correctly before sending to clients.
