Customer financials & AR

Tracking Customer Financials and Payment History

The customer financials view gives you a complete picture of what each client owes, what they've spent, and how they've engaged with your business over time. It's useful for anyone chasing outstanding payments, preparing for a client call, or reviewing a customer's lifetime value.

Getting to a Customer's Financial Profile

Navigate to Money → Customers, then click any customer's name to open their detail page. You'll land on their profile showing a summary row at the top with four at-a-glance stats:

  • Total revenue — the total value of all paid invoices for this contact
  • Events — how many events they've been linked to
  • Quotes — total number of quotes raised
  • Invoices — total number of invoices issued

A coloured segment pill next to the customer's name (VIP, Repeat, Cold, or Lead) gives you a quick read on relationship strength based on spend and event count.

Reviewing Outstanding Invoices

Scroll to the Invoices card on the customer profile. Each row shows:

  • The invoice number and linked event name
  • The date the invoice was created
  • The total amount and a status pill: Unpaid, Partial, Paid, or Cancelled

Click any invoice number to open the full invoice detail and take action on it.

Reviewing Quotes

The Quotes card works the same way. Each quote shows its number, linked event, creation date, total, and a status — such as Draft, Sent, Accepted, or Expired — so you can see where deals are in the pipeline.

Viewing Event History

The Event history table at the bottom shows every event this contact has been associated with, ordered most recent first, so you can trace the full relationship timeline.

Taking Action From the Profile

From the top-right of the customer profile you can:

  • Click New invoice to raise an invoice pre-linked to this contact
  • Click New quote to start a quote for them
  • Click Open conversation to jump straight to their message thread in the inbox

> Tip: For a broader view of all outstanding receivables across every customer at once, check the AR aging report in Money → Financial Dashboard.
