Events — managing your bookings

Events — Managing Your Bookings

The Events section is your central hub for tracking every booking, lead, and enquiry across your catering business. Whether you run food trucks, corporate catering, or private events, this is where you manage the full lifecycle of every job.

Getting to Events

Navigate to Events in the main sidebar. By default you'll land on the Pipeline view, which gives you a visual overview of where every booking sits across your sales stages.

Switching Views

Use the toggle at the top of the page to switch between lenses:

  • Pipeline — a visual, stage-based view of your bookings. Use this to see what's in progress, what needs follow-up, and what's confirmed.
  • List — a detailed, sortable, filterable table of all your events. Access it via the layout toggle or navigate directly to Events → List.

What the List View Shows

The List view (also called the Smartlist) displays each event as a row with key details at a glance:

  • Name — the event or booking name
  • Date — when the event is scheduled
  • Stage — where the booking sits in your pipeline (e.g. enquiry, confirmed, completed)
  • Value — estimated or confirmed revenue for the booking
  • Location — venue or site name
  • Operation — which of your operations (e.g. a specific truck or team) is assigned

Filtering and Sorting

At the top of the List view you'll find filter and sort controls:

  • Filter by stage, category, sub-type, or operation
  • Sort by Date, Name, Stage, or Value
  • Use the search bar to find an event by name or location

Event Statuses and Stages

Events move through stages as a booking progresses — from initial enquiry through to confirmed and completed. The stage shown in the list reflects where each booking sits in your pipeline, making it easy to prioritise follow-ups and spot gaps.

Archiving Events

Events that are no longer active can be archived to keep your list clean without permanently deleting them.
