Forms

The Forms feature lets you create branded enquiry forms to capture leads directly from your website or a shareable link. It's ideal for catering businesses that want new enquiries to flow straight into their pipeline without manual data entry.

Creating a Form

Go to Forms in the main navigation. Click New Form to open the form builder.

Use the drag-and-drop editor to add fields to your form. Available field types include:

• Name, Email, and Phone
• Event Date and Guest Count
• Budget
• Message
• Custom fields for any additional information you need

Rearrange fields by dragging them into your preferred order. Click any field to edit its label, placeholder text, or mark it as required.

Configuring Form Settings

Within the form settings panel, you can:

• Set a Redirect URL to send submitters to a thank-you page after they submit
• Configure an Auto-Reply Email to acknowledge the enquiry automatically
• Set up Notification Emails so your team is alerted when a new submission arrives

Embedding or Sharing Your Form

Once your form is ready, click Publish or Get Embed Code to access your sharing options:

• Script tag — copy and paste the provided code snippet into your website's HTML
• Standalone link — share a direct URL to the form, useful for email campaigns or social media

How Submissions Work

When someone submits your form, CaterCloud automatically:

• Creates a new Contact from their details
• Adds a new Event to your pipeline for follow-up

You can review all incoming submissions directly within the form's Submissions tab.

Tip: After a form submission creates an event in your pipeline, use the Quotes feature to send a tailored proposal while the lead is still fresh.
