Your public operation profile

Your public operation profile is the page customers see when they find your listing on CaterCloud's marketplace. It's the starting point for bookings and enquiries, so keeping it accurate and shareable helps you win more events.

What the public profile shows

Each operation you manage has its own public URL in the format:

`

catercloud.com/v/your-operation-slug

`

This page displays your operation's name, logo, location, and — if you have online booking enabled — a Book your date flow that customers can complete without leaving the page.

Finding your profile URL

  1. Go to Operations in the main navigation.
  2. Select the operation you want to share.
  3. Your public profile URL follows the pattern /v/[slug], where the slug is the unique identifier set for that operation.
  4. Copy the URL directly from your browser's address bar when viewing the profile, or note the slug shown in your operation settings.

Sharing your profile URL

Once you have the URL, you can:

  • Paste it into email signatures, social media bios, or your website
  • Add it to printed materials or event directory listings
  • Share the /v/[slug]/book path directly if you want to send customers straight to the booking flow, skipping the profile landing page

What customers can do from your profile

  • Request or book a date — if you have availability and online booking switched on, customers can pick a date and submit a request or instant booking
  • Message you first — customers who aren't ready to book can open a chat via the Message option before committing
  • See your location — your suburb and state are displayed so customers know your service area at a glance

Keeping your profile accurate

Make sure your operation's name, logo, suburb, and state are up to date inside Operations settings. These details pull directly into your public profile and appear in search results and booking confirmation pages.

Tip: If you want customers to land straight on the booking calendar, share the /v/[slug]/book link instead of the main profile URL.
