The Today page is your at-a-glance operational hub, designed to help you and your team stay on top of what matters most each day. It's ideal for owners, managers, and coordinators who need a fast overview without navigating through multiple sections.

Getting There

Go to Dashboard → Today or navigate directly to /today in your browser.

What You'll See

The Today page is organised into several key panels:

• Upcoming Events — lists confirmed bookings for today and the current week, including event name, time, and location
• Revenue Snapshot — shows earnings for today and a weekly summary so you can track performance at a glance
• Tasks & Alerts — highlights anything requiring your attention, such as unsigned contracts, unpaid invoices, or pending approvals
• Recent Leads — displays newly submitted enquiries so you can follow up quickly
• Staff Availability — flags any scheduling gaps or conflicts for today's events

How to Use It Effectively

• Check Tasks & Alerts first each morning to catch any blockers before your day begins
• Click any upcoming event to jump directly to its full booking record
• Use the Recent Leads panel to action new enquiries before they go cold — aim to respond within a few hours
• If a staff availability issue appears, click through to the relevant booking to reassign or resolve the conflict

Keeping It Up to Date

The Today page reflects live data from your bookings, quotes, and staff records. To ensure accuracy:

• Keep booking statuses updated as events are confirmed or cancelled
• Make sure staff availability is maintained in the Staff section
• Mark tasks as complete once actioned so they clear from the dashboard
