A number that says where it came from
This is the part most calculators skip, and it is the only reason to trust one.
Every competitor calculator in these search results is a form with a multiply in it. They ask for three numbers, invent the fourth, and present the answer as though all four were facts.
These mark the difference. A figure worked out purely from what you typed says from your numbers. A figure that needed a default of ours says includes an assumption, in amber, and the working names the assumption and what it is worth. Replace it and the same number becomes yours.
