Cookie Policy
Effective and last reviewed: 30 August 2026
1. About cookies
Cookies are small files a site stores on your device. We also use similar technologies such as local storage. This policy explains the cookies CaterCloud uses and how to manage them. We show a short notice about our use of cookies, and by continuing to use the site you agree to the cookies described here. We do not currently set any analytics or advertising cookies — only the strictly necessary and preference cookies below.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Service to work and cannot be switched off. They include your sign-in/session cookie and cross-site-request-forgery protection, and short-lived security cookies used during sign-in and when connecting an integration. For support and multi-business use we also use cookies that record an active support session or the business you are currently working in.
3. Functional / preference cookies
These remember choices that improve your experience — for example your theme, sidebar state, and whether you have opted to use the desktop rather than mobile view. Clearing them resets those preferences only.
4. Analytics cookies
We do not currently set analytics cookies, and we do not load third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce analytics in future, they will be used only to understand aggregate usage and improve the product, never to track you across unrelated sites for advertising, and — where the law requires your consent (for example for visitors in the EU or UK) — only after you have given it.
5. Managing your cookies
You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse cookies from a specific site or from all sites. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in and core features from working; clearing preference cookies resets those settings only.
