Widgets
Try them. Right here.
The widgets
Pick one
The live demo is not switched on yet. The widgets themselves are real and shipping — they are what CaterCloud customers already put on their own sites — but running them here needs a demo caterer to point at, so that a booking you make while trying them out does not land in a real operator’s diary.
Ask us for a walkthrough and we will show you the lot.
Each one, in detail
What every widget does, and what it does not
A page each: where it goes, the snippet you paste, and the thing it deliberately will not do.
- Instant quote widgetA real price on your own site, priced from your own menu.
- Availability widgetYour real diary, answered by the engine your calendar uses.
- Live menu widgetThe menu you actually sell, not a PDF from eighteen months ago.
- Order widgetFor the work that does not need quoting. A slot, an order, a payment.
- Upcoming events widgetWhere you are trading next, straight from the calendar you keep.
Where they go
Where each one earns its keep
Instant quote
On your pricing or enquiry page. A visitor gets a real number instead of "contact us for a quote", and you get an enquiry that already knows the head count and the date.
Availability
On your contact page. It shows the dates you can actually work, so you stop fielding enquiries for days you were never free.
Live menu
On your menu page. It is the same menu you priced the job from, so it can never drift from what you actually sell.
Booking
On your home page. Where you are trading next, and a date a customer can take without emailing you first.
Chat
Anywhere. It answers from your menu and your availability rather than from a script somebody wrote once.
Trade invite
For organisers. The invitation that brings you to their event, with the details already filled in.
